The essential balance of healthy body and bright mind – one contingent upon the other – is a premise of Sokol movement since the 19th centrury. In this project we seek the appropriate balance between the original remains of a building from 1923 and the new addition from the 21st century. One reminding us of the tradition and building culture the other making the building vital partner for new programs, ideas and dreams of the new tenants.
