A new development proposal is located in the Moravian heartland, the home of famous soccer team Sigma Olomouc. The area is currently undergoing a rapid transformation from post industrial land to new residential neighborhood in close proximity to the city’s historical center. Inspired by the adjacent quarters and football fields we propose urbanism as a game – a friendly match, more precisely. The two teams – “blocks” and “individuals” – are always aligned according to the center line, same line as there used to be once on the soccer field. Good news: Public space always wins!
